The Effective Coaching Map is intended for anyone delivering sports coaching sessions. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced coach, this tool provides valuable insights to improve your coaching effectiveness.

The map serves as a self-assessment and reflection tool. It helps coaches identify their strengths, areas for growth and development. By using the map, coaches can enhance their coaching practice and positively impact their athletes.

The Effective Coaching Map consists of several interconnected elements which are grouped under the following broad headings:

• Knowing Coaching
